About Your Hosts:
Maryam Rasouli
Maryam's journey is a living testament to personal growth, transformation, and the profound impact of adversity. Brought up by a single mother who courageously raised four children in Germany, Maryam learned the essence of hard work and perseverance from an early age.
At the age of 19, Maryam set off to the United States in search of new opportunities. She found her niche in the mortgage sector and thrived through her unwavering dedication. However, the 2008 financial crisis struck, shattering her world. Like countless others, Maryam faced adversity head-on, and it was this resilience and determination that propelled her to emerge stronger than ever.
In the face of uncertainty, Maryam boldly pivoted her career toward the life insurance and annuities arena. Drawing on her resilience and unwavering spirit, she built multiple successful businesses over the last 16 years, proving that setbacks are merely stepping stones to greater success. Her distinction as a “Top of the Table” qualifier at the Million Dollar Round Table organization (MDRT.ORG) solidifies her position among the industry’s elite. In her forthcoming book, Maryam offers invaluable insights and lessons learned from her own journey of trials and triumph.
According to longtermcare.gov, 7 out of 10 Americans turning 65 will need long-term care in their remaining years. Many caregivers are adult children or spouses/partners who take care of an aging parent or spouse/partner. Maryam’s mission is to alleviate this financial burden on families. She strives to educate and empower families, especially women, on the importance of establishing a healthy relationship with money while maintaining their relationships. Her work is not just about financial planning but also about protecting families from the unexpected, such as critical, chronic, and terminal illnesses.
Maryam' is a strong believer in giving back to her community and loving her City of Los Angeles with great passion. She has been the host of many blood drives for the City of Hope, raising a substantial amount of money, and hopes to continue her charity work on many different levels. Whether helping people to create their own private retirement plan of their dreams or motivating others in their weight loss journey, Maryam continues to conduct seminars all over the country to inspire women to become the best versions of themselves. Her story is a beacon of hope and inspiration, demonstrating that anyone can overcome adversity and achieve their dreams with perseverance, resilience, and a passion for learning.
Today, Maryam is very honored to partner with Veronica Beard to host an event and raise funds for the WeSpark Cancer Support Center. This is a foundation that not only supports cancer patients but also family members. The foundation has been instrumental in my co-host Renee Foresmann’s life. Renee is the primary caregiver of her Mom, who is suffering from the terrifying disease of cancer. Renee’s story is a prime example of the struggles faced by many American families today.
Renee Foresman
Renee Foresman has been an industry professional in the beauty business over the last three decades. Working with prestigious companies such as Dior, Chanel, Dr. Dennis Gross, Caudalie, GLAMGLOW, and Sunday Riley, she has become a sales, education, and training expert in the US and all around the Globe. Whether it be conducting press conferences for brands in multiple countries, hosting on stage, or conducting charity events or elevated Trunk Shows, she thrives in the public speaking and relationship building arena and has used her expertise to build many startup companies.
Working hands on with many CEOs, brand founders, publicists, and even studio executives at Paramount and Sony Pictures, living in Los Angeles has given her a multitude of diverse experiences that have shaped who she has proudly become in Hollywood.
An Actor, being in the Screen Actor Guild since 1996, Sales Expert, and now Life insurance Agent with Advantage Gold Partners, she hopes to guide other women in how to protect their future, becoming financially secure and independent, so they can overcome hardships and financial struggles to pursue their goals and dreams. Motivated by personal experiences, she decided to join her best friend Maryam Rasouli and embark on a career as a life insurance agent. Witnessing her terminally ill mother's lack of protection and her friend Dennison's struggle through two brain surgeries without adequate benefits, she's embraced a new mantra: prioritizing education and safeguarding against life's uncertainties.
Renee is now the sole caregiver to her Mom who is dying of Her 2 positive Breast Cancer that has spread to her liver, back, and bones. Her mother's days are numbered, and she wants to spread awareness of the importance of all families having living benefits in place.
WeSPARK Cancer Support Center has been an invaluable resource for Renee and her Mother during this difficult time, and therefore wishes to give back their non profit organization for helping not only cancer patients in Los Angeles but also the caregivers whose lives are dramatically impacted trying to navigate on how to take care of a loved one who is at the end stages of life.
